He has given presentations to scientific groups, advocacy groups, self-advocates, legislative bodies, and judicial proceedings, including the United States Senate and the Moscow City Duma. The kinds of presentations have included speeches to lay audiences, technical workshops, courtroom testimony, testimony before legislative bodies, radio and television appearances, participation in panel discussions at advocacy conferences, and presentations at professional conferences.
